Crowd braves rain for Queen’s Diamond Jubilee - CBS
“More than a million people braved the rainy weather on the banks of London’s River Thames to watch a thousand-boat flotilla as the celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee continued. Mark Phillips reports.”
“You Need Me, I Don’t Need You” by Ed Sheeran.
A British Sign Language music video, featuring 17 year old signing actor Matthew Morgan.
Ed Sheeran *sigh*… My twin (who showed me this vid) is obsessed with him, justifiably so. British redhead, singer songwriter, 21. He’s been singing in London since he was 16, working hard, staying independent, despite the big record companies trying to boss him around. That’s where the whole “you need me, i don’t need you” speech comes from.
I originally discovered him with this video for his song “Lego House” (Rupert Grint being in it), which i loved. He’s also often associated with One Direction, having co-written this song.

Without You - Usher & David Guetta (Max Schneider cover)
When it comes to this kind of songs, i usually really like the originals.
But most of the time i prefer such stripped-down acoustic piano covers. A voice (and what a voice) + a piano = an explosion of talent, that’s all.
(For example, check out Sam Tsui’s cover of “Hold It Against Me” … that i already posted before, but you can listen to it again right here)
My cousin used to work in the art and fashion industries, and she tells stories about it on her blog. It’s pretty hilarious, you should check it out. But um… it’s in French.
Ma cousine a bossé dans les mondes de la mode et de l’art, elle raconte ses expériences sur son blog. C’est assez marrant, vous devriez y jeter un oeil.
